Voice & Data is back with its 4th edition of the exclusive 5G Conference.  This flagship telecom leadership conference was held virtually in the last two years, on account of the pandemic constraints. We are glad to host this offline, in-person event on September 13th, 2022.


The TLF5G conference will see participation from captains of the telecom industry, international speakers, network heads, and start-up founders, along with top policymakers, CXOs, and technology experts on cloud, 5G services, and the new digital platforms.

The theme of the 4th edition of the TLF 5G conference is 5G & the Future of Mobile Data.

This full-day 5G conference will be packed with over 10 high-impact, informative and insightful sessions on 5G-related matters and 30 plus speakers will be featured in the panel discussions, keynote speeches, industry keynotes, and fireside chat that will explore various aspects of the conference theme.


Over 200 targeted attendees are expected to participate in this full-day elite Telecom industry conference that will be happening at Hyatt Regency, New Delhi from 9:30 am to 5:30 pm, September 13, 2022.

Pradeep Gupta, Chairman - CyberMedia Group will initiate proceedings with the welcome address, followed by an analysis of the Telecom Industry by Peeyush Vaish, Partner & Telecom Sector leader, Deloitte India

In the Inaugural Session, Akhil Gupta Vice-Chairman, Bharti Enterprises, P Balaji Chief Regulatory & Corporate Affairs Officer, Vodafone Idea, and Danielle Royston, CEO of TelcoDR and acting CEO, Totogi will discuss the new needs, new demands, and new approaches for Vision 2030.


Cybermedia’s Consulting Editor, Ibrahim Ahmad will moderate the Fireside Chat on the topic 5G - After the Auctions - next steps. Invited participants include Randeep Sekhon, CTO, Airtel; Lt Gen. Dr SP Kochhar, DG, COAI, Sameer Vuyyuru, Head of WW Business Development for Communication Service Providers, Amazon Web Services (AWS).

Shyam Prabhakar Mardikar, President, Group CTO, Mobility, Reliance JIO will share his thoughts on the theme of the conference - 5G & the future of mobile data, in the Keynote Session.

That will be followed by the first panel discussion of the day, which will be on the topic 5G Rollout-  moderated by Dinesh Chand Sharma, Director European Project on standards. The topics for discussion will include revolutionizing infrastructure investment approach, strategies adopted by operators to upgrade existing 4G networks or acquire additional spectrum, capabilities of current 4G networks for allowing elements of 5G technology to be built onto their networks, leveraging existing capacities, and how operators intend to meet demands of the rollout, create use cases, and the role of infrastructure in meeting capacity demands. Eminent panelists including Ashwani Khillan, COO & CTO, APAC American Tower Corporation, are invited participants in this panel discussion.


The second-panel discussion will be on 5G for Enterprise and Private Networks. The invited participants for this session are Ganesh Lakshmirarayanan, CEO Enterprise Business, Airtel; Kapil Ahuja, CEO (North) Reliance Jio; Himanshu Gupta, Country Manager Telecom, Media and Entertainment, HPE India; Aditya Khaitan, Partner, Consulting, Deloitte India; and TR Dua, DG, DIPA.  The session will be anchored by Shubhendu Parth, former editor Data Quest & Voice&Data.  The areas that will be covered include how Private 5G networks improve efficiency, security, and better control management. Integrating 5G into existing infrastructure and applications- the blueprint- what model is viable? Adoption strategy, Opportunities, and challenges for 5G in the enterprise – enhanced network capacity, elimination of bottlenecks in last mile, AI & IoT driving innovation with improved operational efficiency.

The next session will be an Industry keynote by Danielle Royston, and a panel discussion on The future state of the Industry- 5G, Cloud, and Edge Ecosystems. The invited panelists include Ravi Gandhi, President, Chief of Public policy and Regulatory, Reliance Jio and Reliance Retail; Saurabh Mittal, Head- Product Management Solution & integration, Network R&D, Bharti Airtel; Sivakumar Selva Ganapathy, VP, Johnson Controls; Sameer Vuyyuru, AWS; Danielle Royston, CEO TelcoDR & Totogi; Bharat Bhatia, President, ITU-APT Foundation of India.

Post Lunch, the panel discussion would be on the topic of Skilling for the 5G Economy. Sukanta De, Sdela consulting will moderate the session. Keynote will be delivered by Nirmaljeet Singh Kalsi, Chairman, NCVET. Invited panelists include Arvind Bali, CEO, TSSC; Rangan Banerjee, Director, IIT Delhi; NK Goyal, President, TEMA; Nidhi Pundhir, CSR head, HCL/ Pritpal Singh, CHRO, Indus Towers; TR Dua TAIPA.


The next panel discussion will be on Indigenous 5G Networks and Eco-systems. Panelists in this session are Kishore Babu, DDG, DOT; Dr. Rajkumar Upadhyay, ED & Chairman, C-DOT; K Krishna Moorthy, President and CEO, IESA; Rajesh Tuli, CMD Coral Telecom. India’s quest for self-reliance- Atmanirbhar, and how the 5G ecosystem in India is shaping up. C-DOT’s agreements for collaborative development of end-to-end 5G RAN products and solutions, Govt initiatives, and funding- roadmap and challenges will be some of the points elaborated on.

The last Panel discussion will be on Satellite in the 5G Ecosystem. In this panel, 5G and Non-Terrestrial networks, the role of satellite-based communication in leveraging communication infrastructure to deliver 5G services and bridge the digital divide. An Industry Overview, satellite architecture leveraging LEO systems etc. Participants for this discussion will be Rahul Vatts, CRO, Airtel India; Anil Bhatt, DG, Indian Space Association (ISpA)
