vivo has announced its ‘Design vivo’s Make in India logo’ contest where they are seeking invitations from consumers and fans to design their vivo Make in India logo.
vivo will be celebrating its 5th year anniversary in India and as part of this celebration, vivo is inviting consumers and fans to design a new logo that showcases its focus and commitment towards manufacturing in the Indian market.
vivo India will be giving the best entry a chance to get their artwork printed on select vivo devices and will also be rewarding the selected entry a prize money of INR 5,00,000 for the rights of their logo. Additionally, ten runners-up will get the chance to get their design promoted on vivo social handles and receive vivo devices.
The participants can submit the entries starting today till 23rd November 2019. The winners of the contest will be selected by Vivo India’s creative team and select designers from Talenthouse.
Commenting on the commencement of the contest, Nipun Marya, Director-Brand Strategy, vivo India, said, “We at vivo have been wholly aligned with the ‘Make in India’ initiative from day one. As we celebrate our 5-year journey in India, we have planned this contest to give our fans a chance to participate in our 5th year celebration. We are confident of getting some great entries from the immensely talented designers in the country and I wish everyone all the best for their entry.”
vivo has continuously strengthened its manufacturing capabilities in the country and recently announced an additional investment of INR 3,500 crore in its upcoming manufacturing facility. The brand’s total investment In India for manufacturing devices will be at INR 7,500 crore. As part of its absolute commitment to the Indian market, all devices that are sold in India are manufactured in India.
