On October 23rd, the Union Cabinet on Prime Minister Narendra Modi's directive had approved nearly Rs 70,000 crore revival package for loss-making telecom PSUs BSNL and MTNL.
This announcement made people storm Twitter with both positive and negative comments.
The revival plan seems to be the Modi-led government's best bet solution to revive the loss-making PSUs and offer a better 4G spectrum to its subscribers. Pro Modi followers believe that this decision is good whereas Opposition and many others don't believe so!

Union Home Minister Amit Shah said, "I congratulate PM Modi ji for taking unprecedented steps to revive BSNL & MTNL, also to make them more competitive. Funding of over Rs 20,000 Crore through capital infusion will be made and Sovereign guarantee for long term bonds of Rs 15,000Crore will also be provided."
Union Minister of Law & Justice, Communications, Electronics & Information Technology, Ravi Shankar Prasad, said, "Today when the Govt of PM @narendramodi has given such a liberal revival package to BSNL and MTNL, I urge the employees of both the companies to work hard to make these entities profitable and professional.
