NEW DELHI: Tolexo, India’s B2B e-commerce company for industrial products, has launched a mobile app for the benefit of 47 million small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). The company has invested $2 million in building the mobile product, its framework and technology, to accelerate the development. Tolexo has also hired Gaurav Jain, ex-Engineering Manager for MobileApps at Snapdeal, to lead the company’s mobile technology initiative.

The company believes that with the launch of this app it would be the first step towards building a whole new mobile-focus eco-system which disrupts the way businesses buy and sell currently.

“We have witnessed consistent growth in the number of users interacting on our mobile site, proving the transition of the traditional businesses to the online way of buying. The further investment in the mobile technology will ensure that we stay ahead of the curve and provide the best user experience to businesses,” said Harsh Kundra, Co-founder, Tolexo.
