This is a simple trick to stop Coronavirus caller tune. Try it!

With the World Health Organization declaring COVID-19 as a global pandemic infection, India has made significant efforts to contain the spread of the disease in the country. Tourist visas have been canceled and several awareness programs have been launched to ensure that the message on its mode of spread and personal hygiene is circulated.

One of these awareness drives is the pre-call announcement as a 30-second caller tune delivered by telecom operators Jio, Airtel, BSNL and Vodafone.

The Coronavirus caller tune has definitely brought in a great sense of awareness but on the contrary, there was an uproar among people who were irritated by the frequency of the tune's announcement with a COUGH sound. On every call, this lengthy message is played and the same message every time has annoyed the public.

But there are small ways you can avoid this message if you do not want to listen to it every time:

1. Choose WhatsApp calling or other App based calls as an alternative
2. Once you dial, the awareness message will start playing, you can open your keypad and press any digit to stop the message. Ideally, press digit 1 to exit from the message. So far this option has worked very well.
3. Once you dial, you could cut the call immediately and re-dial.
