Vinod Kumar would move out of Tata Communications after serving the company for nearly 15 years.

A release filed with the exchanges by the global digital infrastructure provider, Tata Communications has revealed that with effect from July 5th, 2019, the company's Managing Director and Group CEO, Vinod Kumar would resign. Citing personal issues as the reason, Vinod Kumar would move out of Tata Communications after serving the company for nearly 15 years.

It is believed that the Board of directors has taken on record his resignation and is on the lookout for his successor.

An alumnus of Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Vinod Kumar joined Tata Communications in April 2004 to spearhead the company's international expansion. Kumar is known to be at the forefront of Tata Communications’ transformation from a traditional connectivity services provider to a global services provider – offering a broad range of managed communication and collaboration services as well as IT infrastructure services.
