Swipe Gestures: The Freedom OS supports both off-screen gestures as well as the home-screen gestures first time in India. That means that the user can just draw a “C” while the screen is off to open the camera app directly. If the user quickly wants to check his/her mailbox while using the phone, they will have to pinch-in on their home screen and the mail inbox will open.

Swipe Box: The tool by Swipe will allow users to get 100GB storage space by aggregating all of user’s cloud storage accounts into one. Whenever the user feels that his/her cloud storage space is getting full, he/she can just add one more account and storage space will get extended. It lets the user explore, analyze, manage and clean cloud and device storage together.

Elaborating on the Freedom OS, Shripal Gandhi, CEO and Founder, Swipe Technologies, said, “We are rolling out features in Freedom OS in waves, concentrating first of all on the freedom to customize UI & Swipe Box aspects. This Freedom OS has been tested throughout a long preview period & in future it is possible to offer some value added upgrades to our loyal customers. Rest assured we are working 24×7 to improvise on features and prioritizing the quality of UI experience over anything else.”

“The latest smartphone buyer insights reveal that consumers prefer to customize their phones not only in terms of accessories, but also in terms of the User Interface (UI). Due to the limited UI customization available in the stock Android, Swipe has decided to design a product that allows users to hold a highly-customized UI,” added Gandhi.

“Swipe has a number of firsts to its credit when it comes to the communications devices market in India – be it India’s first 3D tablet, or India’s first 6” Fablet, or India’s first 5.5” Fablet with fingerprint sensor, or India’s first Tab-Top with in-built 3G and many more. The Freedom OS is our attempt to provide superior user experience to our demanding tech savvy & aspirational young fans. Freedom OS will be delivered on Swipe Elite device through OTA update. Our constant endeavor is to keep raising the benchmark for technological innovations that directly address the ever evolving consumer needs,” elaborated Gandhi.
