SoftAge to hire 700 employees in India

NEW DELHI: India's document management solution provider SoftAge Information Technology said that it will hire around 700 employees to their India operations.

The company which has nearly 7000 employees and is serving to all the major e-wallet providers in India is making the most of the demonetization in India as there is a sudden surge in demand for document digitization by most of the corporate led by e-wallet companies, as a result the company’s workload has increased by 35-40% in last few weeks.

Ozair Yasin, MD, SoftAge Information Technology Ltd. said, “Demonetization may be a challenge for many but it’s an opportunity for us to grow and expand. The surge in number of users for e-wallet and other financial service providers holds the key for us to grow and create nearly 10% of new employment opportunities within the organization.”

The company which specializes in document digitization is getting volumes of documents to be digitized in the form of KYC forms, aadhar cards, driving licenses, pan cards, passport etc.

Company is looking to hire at various levels and the process has already begun, 20% of the new joiners will be at the middle & senior management level and rest will be junior to ground level workforce. The majority of the new workforce will be based out of their Gurugram office (40%), followed by 25% in the west India, 20% in the East India and 15% in South India market.
