BENGALURU: Payment and transactions services company Worldline India has appointed Sanjay Goswami as Vice President of Software Development in the Technology Development team.

At Worldline India, Goswami would be responsible for product development, technology and competency building with a focus on new and emerging businesses and innovation. He will be based out of Mumbai and will report to Deepak Chandnani, CEO South Asia and Middle East.

Chandnani said, “The banking industry today requires new and innovative solutions that .0.will cater to demand in the industry. I am glad to have Goswami on the technology development team. Under his guidance, team will be able to develop innovative products and solutions that will not only cater to current needs of the market but also for the future.”

Goswami has over two decades of experience with companies like Samsung, HCL, CSC and most recently Syntel Inc. Goswami was Practice Director – Cards & Payments at Syntel where he was responsible for creating domain driven payments COE, business solution frameworks for mobile payments and other card and mobile-related solutions. He is a BE graduate and has completed the Executive General Management Program from IIM, Bangalore.
