Ruckus on expansion spree in India

BANGALORE: Ruckus Wireless is expanding its technical support center in India to fuel its growth in the enterprise and service provider Wi-Fi markets.

The company aims to strengthen its technical capabilities to cater to growing demands of the Indian market and provide stronger support to its global customers and partners. As part of the expansion, Ruckus will expand its technical team in its Bangalore office, and expand its current office capacity to accommodate the new team.

“Demand for the kind of smarter, more reliable Wi-Fi network infrastructure we provide has been growing non-stop,” said Giri Iyer, Vice President, Global Customer Support, Ruckus Wireless.

“Since the company first established our technical support centre here in 2009, our technical support engineers have been assisting our value added partners and customers deploy and manage their Ruckus Smart Wi-Fi networks.. Currently, Ruckus Wireless has an office in Bangalore. Ruckus is planning to add 15,000 sq ft of floor space to the current office, in addition to hiring more staff.
