BSNL’s Mega Offer: Rs.399 prepaid plan for just Rs. 100

To take advantage of this Mega Offer, the users in these states need to produce BSNL coupon printed on the domestic LPG bills of IOCL/HPCL.

Citing stiff competition and the lowering of tariff as the reason, BSNL says it is facing a funds crisis for the last few months. However,  the Government of India is actively preparing a revival plan

Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) recently came up with another exciting new tariff plan called Mega Offer. With this plan, the state-owned Telecom Operator is providing the special tariff voucher of Rs 399 at just Rs 100.

BSNL has announced that this plan is valid for both: users who join the network directly and those who port their number (via Mobile Number Portability). However, the Mega Offer is limited to seven states: Uttar Pradesh (East & West), Uttaranchal, Himachal Pradesh, Haryana, Rajasthan, Punjab and Jammu & Kashmir. To take advantage of this Mega Offer, the users in these states need to produce BSNL coupon printed on the domestic LPG bills of IOCL/HPCL. LPG dealers in these states will provide the coupons.

A new user must produce the BSNL coupon which would be printed on the domestic LPG bills from Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited (HPCL) or Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL) in these states.

Anupam Shrivastava, CMD BSNL in a press statement said, “Mega offer is a truly unlimited welcome-gift to new and MNP prepaid customers where @ Rs 1.35 per day for 74 days.”

The operator will be issuing a new SIM card with first recharge of Rs 399 for just Rs 100, to those producing BSNL coupon printed on LPG bills,. The user can collect the SIM card from any of BSNL’s touch points in these states.
