Refer a friend to Vodafone and get 1 year free calling

BENGALURU: Vodafone India, one of India’s leading telecom service providers, has launched ‘Refer-as-Friend’, which is a customer centric referral program that rewards Vodafone customers who refer their friends, relatives or colleagues.

Vodafone explained that ‘Refer-a-Friend’ program enables free calling for a whole year, to its customers who refer a friend with the referred friend who ports in to Vodafone. There are other additional benefits - free Vodafone-to-Vodafone 100 minutes or additional talktime or bill discounts of Rs 100, etc.., for the Vodafone customer who refers. Both customers also stand a chance to win Samsung Galaxy phones in a lucky draw.

Vodafone customer can refer friends, family and colleagues by sending the following toll free message to 199 – MGM. Vodafone explained that the customer can send multiple SMSs to get benefit for up to 3 successful refers.

Inviting Vodafone customers in Mumbai to reap the benefits of the ongoing referral program, Ishmeet Singh, Business Head- Mumbai Circle, Vodafone India said, “Vodafone currently has 8.6 million customers in Mumbai who we believe are our true brand ambassadors. Vodafone ‘Refer-a-Friend’ is an initiative with a two pronged objective - to thank them for their patronage, as well as to welcome their closest associates into the Vodafone family.”
