NEW DELHI: Smartphone brand OPPO has joined GSMA, the trade association representing the interests of the worldwide mobile communications industry.
The GSMA unites nearly 800 operators with almost 300 companies in the broader mobile ecosystem, including handset and device makers, software companies, equipment providers and internet companies, as well as organizations in adjacent industry sectors. The GSMA also produces industry-leading events such as Mobile World Congress, Mobile World Congress Shanghai, Mobile World Congress Americas and the Mobile 360 Series of conferences.
As a newly-minted member of the GSMA, OPPO expects to participate in a variety of working groups and programs dedicated to the advancement of mobile technology.
OPPO believes that being a member of GSMA will give the company an opportunity to keep up with latest trends and technologies of global telecommunication industry. Through this partnership, OPPO intends to promote its global development and to seek innovation across various mobile platforms.
