Meizu forays into India with M1 Note

NEW DELHI: Chinese handset maker Meizu has forayed into the Indian smartphone market with the launch of M1 Note to be available exclusively on the online marketplace Amazon.

The pricing of the LTE-enabled dual-SIM device hasn’t been made public.

The smartphone has a 5.5-inch screen and is powered by a 1.7 GHz octa-core MediaTek processor and has 2GB of RAM. It runs on the Meizu’s own OS called Flyme, built on the Android 4.4 KitKat. It has a 13-megapixel rear camera, LED flash, and 5-megapixel front-facing camera.

The M1 note weighs 145 grams and has a non-removable 3140mAh battery along with an inbuilt storage of 16GB and 32GB in two different versions.
