mCarbon appoints Sabri Amireh to boost business in Africa, Middle East

mCarbon has appointed Sabri Amireh as the new Senior Vice President and the market unit Head for Middle East and Africa

NEW DELHI: mCarbon, Noida-headquartered mobile technology solution innovator, has appointed Sabri Amireh as the new Senior Vice President and the market unit Head for Middle East and Africa. With this appointment, mCarbon says that it has reinforced its commitment in the region to achieve the next growth phase internationally.

Sabri has 25 years of experience in the telecom industry and has handled diverse senior management responsibilities in business development and sales. He has a proven track record of delivering solutions for GSM Operators through inspiring leadership in Middle East and Africa. He has previously worked with Orascom in Egypt, Cable & Wireless in Qatar, Jordan & Yemen. His last stint was with Mahindra Comviva where he spearheaded and managed their business for MENA.

Commenting on the appointment RajeshRazdan, Founder & CEO of mCarbon said, “We foresee Middle East and Africa as an important contributor to the next level of telecom products globally and hence our presence has to be commensurate to that. mCarbon is targeting $10 million of revenue over the next two years from the region and plans to set up an office in Dubai by the end of this year. Earlier this year, mCarbon signed a significant multi country group level contract with Expresso telecom group (ETG), African telecommunications and information Services Company for the western Africa region.
