LinkLadder app on road to create largest virtual directory

NEW DELHI: Smartphone utility app creator LinkLadder has entered the app space market with its Android and iOS versions. Linkladder lets users do more with their phone book. It is an app that lets users search for a contact that’s not just in the phone but also suggests that it might be in the user’s friend’s phone. LinkLadder says that the company uses a unique approach for building this connection.

New Delhi-based LinkLadder is a product of LinkLadder Technologies. The company is co-founded by Gaurav Dalal, Gurprit Singh, Sanjay Agarwal and Anuj Juneja. LinkLadder was started by its founders with a view to create an app that lets one search for a contact that’s not only in one’s phone book but also in one’s friend’s phone book. In the process the founders are working on creating a large virtual directory that brings just about any service at the user’s fingertips.

Quoting an example, Gurprit Singh, Co founder, Linkladder Technologies said, “The unique approach can be made more clear by describing a simple example, let say you are searching for a Doctor in the LinkLadder App, the app will search your phone book and your friends’ phone books for possible contacts saved as a Doctor, Doc, Dr. etc. and will list all the doctors in your phone book and contact-wise count of Doctors known to each. All the user needs to do next is, call up the friend(s) and take the number. You’ve often commended the convenience of your one phone book. But here with Linkladder, it is more about the power of a billion phone books put together.”

Singh further said, “LinkLadder is like an intelligent friend with a very strong memory sitting inside the smartphone to assist in finding correct contact in the extended network incase you need an expert advice or searching for reliable and tested service provider. LinkLadder also determines what a person is on the basis of what the world has saved them as. These are called Cloud Tags. By using its own set of algorithms and calculations, LinkLadder’s server gives a tag(s) to every person by which they will be searchable within the App. To top it all, LinkLadder also enables users to discover common phone book contacts with their friends.”

LinkLadder was started by its founders with a view to create an app that lets one search for a contact that’s not only in one’s phone book but also in one’s friend’s phone book. But, in the process it ended up as what could be the world’s largest virtual directory and thus an app that brings just about any service at a user’s fingertips.
