Karnataka set to get smart city technologies

NEW DELHI: IT solutions provider NEC India and Keonics (Karnataka State Electronics Development Corporation) have entered into an agreement to explore opportunities in the areas of safe, smart city technologies and Cybersecurity.

The partnership aims to promote and drive economic growth in Karnataka as well as other parts of India through NEC-driven IT solutions.

In the area of cybersecurity, NEC India and Keonics will collaborate to provide solutions that protect against cybercrime, as well as focus on talent development to enhance the security capabilities of Karnataka as well as the rest of India.

Through this partnership, Keonics will leverage NEC’s solutions to assist state governments and other government organizations in implementing projects in the areas of cybersecurity, city surveillance, criminal investigation and forensics, and systems integration.
