Jivi launches 3 budget smartphones

NEW DELHI: Low cost mobile handset company, Jivi has launched three budget smartphones— Jivi JSP 47, Jivi JSP 38 and Jivi JSP 29 in the India market.

The Jivi JSP 47 is powered by a dual core smartphone and 512 MB RAM and features a 4.5 inch full touch capacitive screen with an IPS Panel. It comes with a 5 megapixel camera on the rear along with a front camera and is available at Rs 4,199.

“All three models - Jivi JSP 29, Jivi JSP 38 and Jivi JSP 47 – have the latest version of Android KITKAT 4.4 operating system. These 3G phones have WiFi and Bluetooth in terms of connectivity. Also, users can generate WiFi hotspot for enabling Internet access on devices in vicinity," said Harsh Vardhan, Head – Marketing, Jivi Mobiles.

The Jivi JSP 38 has a 4-inch full touch capacitive screen. It comes with 5 megapixel camera on the rear and a VGA camera in front. The phone is powered by a 1 GHz processor and 256 MB RAM. It features 512 MB memory and a battery of 1500 mAh and is available at Rs 3,299.

"They come with support for two SIM cards which enables you to customize plans from different operators to suit your voice and data usage," said Vardhan.

"You can have two separate connections without the hassle of carrying two phones. The external memory is expandable up to 32 GB using a micro-SD card. They also have a Jivi App Store icon through which users can download games, songs, videos and other interesting multimedia content. All three models are available in black and white colour variants,” he added.

The most affordable budget smartphone  Jivi JSP 29 has 3.5 inch capacitive screen and 2 megapixel rear camera and a front VGA camera. It is powered by a 1 GHz processor and 256 MB RAM.

It comes with 512MB memory and a 1450 mAh battery and is available for Rs 2,999.
