JioPhone Next Specs: Phone to feature Android 11 Go Edition, Qualcomm 215

XDA Developers have posted the new JioPhone Next specs, which shows the device having Android 11 Go Edition, and a Snapdragon 215 chipset.

XDA Developers have recently revealed the JioPhone Next specs. The 4G Android device, developed jointly by Reliance Jio and Google, will come with a 1440x720 display and entry-level Qualcomm Snapdragon 215.

XDA Reveals JioPhone Next Specs

Reliance Industries Limited launched the smartphone at the 44th Reliance AGM 2021, saying that the company will start retailing the phone from September 10. Back then, the company had said that it will revolutionize the 4G market in the country. However, the company had remained silent over the detailed specs sheet of the phone.

In a Twitter thread, XDA confirmed that the JioPhone Next will come with Google’s Camera Go and Duo Go app. On the camera side, the device comes with an 8MP front camera and a 13MP OmniVision OV13B10 rear sensor. Moreover, the device will have the model name LS-5701-J and will come with 2GB RAM along with Android 11 (Go Edition).

Other features that the device will have the Google Assistant, AR filters, read-aloud, translation and so on. JioPhone Next will also support all the apps from both Google and Jio, as well as Android Play Store. That means that the users have the access to the entire library of apps on the app store.

Reliance Jio will aim to capture over 300 million feature phone users, who are still on 2G. Moreover, the telco also has about half a billion first-time phone users in mind as well. Reliance Jio already has two 4G feature phones called the JioPhone and JioPhone 2. Incidentally, the telco has shifted more than 100 million of those devices.
