NEW DELHI: Domestic handset maker iBall has added mSLR Cobalt4 smartphone to its portfolio that comes bundled with four detachable mSLR lenses and it is priced at Rs 8,499.

The phone will be available across the country within few weeks in a phased manner.

Sandeep Parasrampuria, Director, iBall, said, “With mSLR Cobalt4, the users shall be mesmerized on the smartphone’s camera with detachable lenses. The multiple options of the lens shall snap great pictures and its again heartening that we are the first in India to launch a product with this technology.”

The bundled lenses include a zoom lens with 8x zoom, a fisheye lens with a 175-180 degree viewing angle, a macro lens with 10x magnification and minimum object distance of 10-15mm, and a wide-angle lens with a 130-degree viewing angle.

With Octa Core processor power on board, the mSLR Cobalt4 features a 5-inch IPS qHD display on Android 4.4 KitKat OS and supports 15 regional languages.

It is backed by 1GB of RAM and is powered by a 2,000mAh battery. It houses an 8MP rear camera on board with a dual-LED flash and autofocus; while there is also a 3.2MP front-facing shooter with a soft LED flash for selfies. The built-in 8GB of internal memory is further expandable up to 32GB via a microSD card.

Connectivity options include dual-SIM with dual standby, 3G, Wi-Fi, USB on the go, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS and HotKnot.
