"We are in talks with every player that has got 1800 MHz LTE spectrum. In 2015, you would see a lot of LTE deals being signed by Huawei," Sameer Raval, Director-Strategy and Marketing at Huawei India, was quoted as saying to a publication.

The report further said that the company is talking to telcos that have acquired 4G LTE spectrum in February 2014 and in the recently concluded spectrum auction for possible deals to roll out networks on fourth-generation LTE technology.

Raval, however, declined to share the names of the Indian telecom operators.

"Our business, compared with past two years, is much better. We are extremely bullish on the Indian market".

It should be noted that Huawei recently bagged a three-year contract from country’s top operator Bharti Airtel for supply of base stations and other equipment for its 4G network in Karnataka and Tamil Nadu telecom circles to provide high-speed data services on the 1800 MHz band using the FDD-LTE technology.

Bharti Airtel and Aircel have launched 4G services in select circles in India, while Reliance Jio Infocomm is expected to start its 4G services in coming months.
