HTC launches Desire 728 at Rs 17,990

NEW DELHI: Taiwanese multinational HTC has announced the launch of its new 4G smartphone in India, the Desire 728, at a price of Rs 17,990.

The dual-SIM smartphone features a 5.5-inch HD (720 x 1280) IPs display and is powered by a 64-bit MediaTek (MT6753) 1.3 GHz octa-core processor along with 2GB of RAM. The smartphone runs on Android lollipop operating with HTC Sense on top of it and has a 2800 mAh battery.

The Desire 728 Dual SIM comes with 16GB of internal storage, which is further expandable up-to 2TB via MicroSD card. The smartphone has a 13-megapixel autofocus rear camera with LED flash and a 5-megapixel fixed-focus front camera. On the connectivity front, phone offers 4G, Bluetooth 4.1, WiFi (802.11 b/g/n (2.4 GHz)), GPS with AGS/GLONASS and Micro-USB 2.0. The handset measures 157.9.x 77.8 x 7.87 mm and weighs 153 grams. The sensors include Motion G, Compass, Proximity and Ambient Light sensor.
