Hike announces Pujo and Navaratri special sticker packs

NEW DELHI: India’s home grown messenger app Hike has announced the launch of Pujo and Navaratri special sticker packs and expects over 200 million stickers to be exchanged by consumers across the country.

The stickers let users greet their loved ones in more than 60 expressions such as “Hallo Hallo, DandiyaRaas, Jo BakaNavratriCheToh Line TohMarvaani, DhakerShubhoMaasoshti, Tale KamarDole, BoloMaaDurgaki Joy, CholMondopeGiyeAdda Di ”

At present, Hike provides a repository of stickers with over 5,000 stickers around themes including friendship, festivals, sports and global fusion. The stickers are available in more than 20 local Indian languages.

Hike recently announced the launch of automatic Sticker Suggestions in its latest update hike 4.0, which recommends a sticker for every moment based on what users type. This technology for exchanging stickers has been designed in such a way that sending stickers consumes minimal data and works on 2G as well.
