Excitel today announced investment in AI technology to remotely optimise its residential WiFi connections through a partnership with Aprecomm. The company said that the AI tech will also help it resolve customer issues faster and enhance user experience.

Excitel Partners with Apercomm to Remotely Optimize Network using AI

Excitel said that Aprecomm is providing its AI Stack for WiFi OEM/ODMs to it. This solution will allow the company to convert its connections to AI-enabled Smart WiFi access points. The further allows the network provider to monitor the network and improve network performance.

Vivek Raina, CEO, Excitel, said, "a large section of issues that our customers report revolve around router rebooting, configuration or access. Now, with integration of Aprecomm into our platform, we will be able to monitor the quality of WiFi being accessed by individual devices kept in various parts of a household".

He added, "the insights Aprecomm’s solution brings helps us automate configuration management and reduce resolution time for our customers, bringing them an unmatched high speed internet experience".

Pramod Gumaraj, Co-Founder and CEO, Aprecomm, said, "with VWE, we are fusing every shipped CPEs with the intelligence of the admin, customer support engineer and the WLAN experts and automate actions by correlating Terabytes of data in real-time".

Gumaraj added, "with Aprecomm VWE integrated, Excitel will now be able to quickly deploy resources to ensure the internet is up and running in no time".

The company also said that the integration will also help it reduce maintenance costs and improve customer satisfaction. The company further claimed that it has deployed the solution across 250,000 connections till date. Excitel also said that it will deploy the solution across all its connections by August end.
