Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) has reportedly launched a prepaid plan of Rs 98 which is offering 1.5GB data per day for a period of 26 days from the date of recharge. According to a report by TelecomTalk, this plan falls under BSNL’s data only prepaid plans. As per the report, the new data plan which is titled “Data Tsunami” plan will be going neck to neck with Jio’s Rs 98 prepaid plan and Bharti Airtel’s prepaid plan priced at Rs. 119.

The report noted that while Reliance Jio’s Rs 98 is offering 2GB of high-speed data, unlimited voice calls for 28 days, it also ships with 300 SMSes for the validity period. But BSNL however, isn’t offering any calling or SMS benefit with the new data only prepaid plan. Nevertheless, the BSNL subscribers will be provided with 1.5GB of free data per day.
