Commenting on the success, Tushar Sighat, Executive Director & CEO – D-Link (India) said, “Since last 30 years, D-Link has built a strong legacy that is driven by our Passion to Innovate. We continue to design solutions that offer better connectivity, ease of use & most importantly equipped with next-gen technology. Our big wins at international platform like CES stand testimony to D-Link’s commitment towards technology & innovation.”

D-Link Unified Home Wi-Fi Network Kit: With Adaptive Roaming Technology (DKT-891), a router-extender kit is designed to address the need for full home wireless coverage while at the same time providing intelligent adaptive roaming technologies to dynamically connect devices to the best available Wi-Fi signal for optimal bandwidth.

As more wireless devices are being used throughout the home with high bandwidth applications, such as streaming HD video and online gaming on multiple devices simultaneously, users need a home network that can keep up with their demands. The Unified Home Wi-Fi Network Kit uses intelligent adaptive roaming technology, meaning connected devices will automatically hop between the router and extender based on which connection will provide the best performance, allowing users to move throughout the home without having to configure or worry whether they're getting the best connection and performance from their network.

For added performance, the router incorporates the latest Qualcomm MU|EFX multi-user MIMO (MU-MIMO) technology that enables simultaneous transmission to groups of clients, almost as if each device has a designated router, making more efficient use of available Wi-Fi network capacity and speeding up transmissions. Features such as MU-MIMO, along with Tri-Band Wi-Fi (one 2.4GHz band and two 5GHz bands), are especially beneficial in home networks where the whole family is connected to the internet simultaneously, allowing for HD streaming and online gaming while still providing speeds up to 3x faster than traditional Wi-Fi networks.

mydlink Smart Alarm detector: DCH-S165 is a Wi-Fi based detector that monitors and identifies the sounds of standard UL-certified smoke or CO alarms. Expanding D-Link’s award-winning Connected Home ecosystem, the Smart Alarm Detector plugs into an electrical outlet to create an integrated home safety solution, without the cost and hassle of installing new smoke or CO detectors.

Designed with integrated Wi-Fi, the Smart Alarm Detector easily connects to existing Wi-Fi network and works with any UL-certified smoke and CO alarms. All of the D-Link Connected Home solutions, including the Smart Alarm Detector, work with the free mydlink Home app for iOS® and Android® smartphones and tablets, allowing users to control devices all from one screen. With IFTTT (If This Then That) integration, the Smart Alarm Detector can also be linked to hundreds of favorite apps and devices for a customized smart home solution.

D-Link Unified Home Wi-Fi Network Kit and mydlink Smart Alarm Detector will initially be available in Q2 2016 in the United States. This will be followed by regional launch in other countries.
