Covid-19 lockdown spurs new meme game ‘Quarantine House’ on Twitter

This is not as official as the popular Big Boss reality TV show, but it is a super unofficial Twitter game called ‘Quarantine House’ that has sprung up on Twitter, because of the lockdown imposed by most countries trying to check the pandemic spread of COVID-19.

This is an imaginary game that is in the form of a meme. From celebrities to popular literary authors to sun signs and football players, several names are grouped into hypothetical sets of four or five houses. The creator designs a meme with a theme of his/her choice on the Quarantine House and posts it on Twitter.

These memes ask Twitteratis to choose one from among the group users who have been compiled as housemates. Comments are sought from his/her Twitter followers for this challenge – “Imagine you must live in isolation for an indefinite length of time, as the COVID-19 pandemic carries on. You have the option to take shelter in one of the houses (filled entirely with polarizing celebrities, historical figures, and fictional characters). Which ‘quarantine house’ will you choose?
