BSNL offers free validity extension up to 5th May 2020

BSNL is extending the validity of all such subscribers up to 5^th May 2020, free of cost, so that the subscribers continue to receive incoming calls. In view of hardships faced by the subscribers whose validity has expired during the lockdown period and are having almost zero balance.

Launches Recharge Helpline:

BSNL has also launched “Recharge Helpline” on toll-free number 5670099, for subscribers with facilities of “Ghar Baithe Recharge” and “Apno ki madad se recharge”, for all the subscribers who are not able to recharge through digital platforms.

Availability of the Feature in North and West zones:

This feature is currently available in North and West zones and will be available from 22^nd April 2020 in South and East zones. In “Ghar Baithe Recharge”, a subscriber can register a request for recharge and a BSNL executive will reach subscribers and provide the requested recharge.

“Apno ki madad se recharge” feature allows subscribers to request a recharge from a friend or family. BSNL urges all citizens to extend helping hand to the needy people around them by doing recharge for them.

P. K. Purwar, CMD, BSNL said, “BSNL firmly stands beside its subscribers during this crisis period and we request the subscribers to “Go Digital” for recharging their accounts. Several options available for recharge include MyBSNL mobile app, BSNL website, and other popular wallet services.”
