BSNL introduces new FTTH Broadband plan at just Rs 1,277

Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) has launched a new FTTH broadband plan which is priced at Rs. 1,277, Telecomtalk reports. The new plan will offering 100 Mbps download and upload speeds along with a monthly FUP of 750GB to its subscribers. The report also stated that BSNL’s other Fibre-to-the-home broadband plans include: Rs 777, Rs 3,999, Rs 5,999, Rs 9,999 and Rs 16,999, which overall are shipping up to 3.5TB or 3500GB of data at a maximum of 100 Mbps speeds.

According to the report, the new plan is giving its user a monthly FUP of 750GB at a speed upto 100 MBPS. After the FUP limit is reached, the speed is reduced to 2MBPS.

The report noted that there is a minimum minimum hire period for this plan which is one month and a security deposit of Rs 1,277 will be collected while setting up the connection. Moreover the report added, that BSNL is offering the plan in annual payment option, two-years payment option and three years payment option at Rs 14,047, Rs 26,817 and Rs 38,310 respectively.

This new FTTH broadband plan by BSNL is valid for both new and existing users across the country where the state owned telco is providing FTTH services .With this, users will also receive one free email ID and 1GB of space—Telecomtalk reports.
