This offer was introduced early in November with a validity date of November 28. Its expiry date was later extended to January 1. On the other hand, BSNL is rationalizing its Rs. 186 plan voucher and Rs. 199 special tariff voucher over the next few days. All the users who apply for a new SIM, or who port over to BSNL, will get a SIM card for free – provided their First Recharge Coupon (FRC) is over Rs. 100.

The company has updated its Tamil Nadu circle website to show the same. As per a report by OnlyTech, this plan was initially introduced in the second week of November and expired on November 28. It was then brought back on December 17 with a January 1 deadline.

The Rs. 186 voucher plan is now available for Rs. 199 and is now valid for 30 days instead of 28. On the other hand, Rs. 199's special tariff scheme now arrives at Rs. 201 and this is already in effect. The validity, features, and benefits are not modified.

BSNL also revised its 1999 prepaid plan to tweak the streaming benefits that come with it. The telco is now giving a subscription to Eros Now for 365 days and Lokdhun content for 60 days.

The plan offers unlimited voice calling across all circles and gives 3GB of data per day. After the daily limit of 3GB is reached, the speed is reduced to 80 Kbps. The plan offers 1095GB of data for 365 days and comes with 100SMS. All other benefits of this plan will be the same.

According to reports, BSNL’s network signals have emerged in Mumbai circle ahead of the reported launch of BSNL’s service in Delhi and Mumbai circles which would make it a pan India operator.
