BillBachao app crosses one million installs within a year

NEW DELHI: A BillBachao, a first of its kind app designed to maximize savings on mobile spends, has crossed one million installs, within a year of the launch of its beta version.

The app is designed to help its users track their mobile usage and spend, find the best prepaid or post-paid tariff plans and recommend the best network operator based on their usage and location profiles.

The new app also serves as a one-stop solution for managing the complete mobile connection and provides a platform for activating/deactivating services, instant recharge and bill payments.

The service aims to empower mobile users in India with an app which can slash their mobile bills by up to 30-40%. High tech software algorithms & big data analytics are used to make recommendations and facilitate savings. This has enabled consumers to potentially save up to 20 million per month.

New features also include saving your best plan for future recall, usage monitoring alerts, being alerted whenever your operator launches new plans relevant for you, one-stop solution for all your self-care like MNP, DND, call centre connect, deactivating VAS, checking your post-paid bill or pre-paid balance, getting notifications whenever your plans are reaching end of their validity or value, getting your data balance.
