BICSI, the premier association supporting advancements in the Information and Communications Technology (ICT), has announced that its India district technology conference will be held on April 12, 2019 at The Westin, Mumbai.

Vikas Aggarwal, Partner, Ernst & Young and Chief Guest at the conclave, will be delivering the keynote address. The conference will demonstrate compelling insights into the surge of devices and bandwidth, infrastructure preparedness and how innovations in ICT infrastructure will transform operations and service delivery to capitalize on the opportunities in the most skilled way.

Paul Weintraub, RCDD, RTPM, ESS, TECH, CAE, Vice President of Global Development & Support, BICSI will convey the inaugural address.

The conference sessions will feature engrossing talks by ICT experts and deep-dive into the communication network’s most dynamic challenges. Eminent ICT professionals will debate the prominence and operational efficiency of ICT infrastructure while focussing on addressing today’s transformation challenges and how enterprises & their ecosystem can equip themselves with intelligent network solutions and skill-sets. Intriguing presentations on trends and developments in LAN cabling, field testing, cabling infrastructure design, smart cities, and 4K cabling will be the key attributes, along with a panel discussion on; modern network infrastructure.

“The world is increasingly getting connected and complex than ever before and ICT infrastructure needs to play a significant role in delivering secure and massive throughput,” said Mr. Ninad Desai, District Chair, BICSI India. As high bandwidth and ultra-reliable low latency communication takes center stage the experts at BICSI conference will deliberate on the challenges in building and managing such networks that will accelerate digital transformation, he added.

The dedicated product pavilion will showcase innovative products and present rich opportunities to engage with industry stakeholders. The 2019 BICSI cabling skills challenge & BICSI ICT IQ quiz will also be held concurrently. BICSI India pre-conference technical workshops will offer ICT professionals hands-on experience in: design of structured cabling system for data centers, telecom bonding & grounding, audio-visual technology, industrial ICT infra security & telecom project management.

The expected 300 plus audience would largely represent end-users, system integrators, installers, consultants, distributors and OEMs from the ICT community, members of BICSI and various other Indian IT and Software Industry Associations.
