BICSI conference to focus on Intelligent Infrastructure, ICT Standards

NEW DELHI: BICSI, the  association supporting advancements in the Information and Communications Technology (ICT), has announced that its India District Technical Conference will be held on April 21, 2016 in Mumbai's The Westin.

Brian Ensign, RCDD, RTPM, NTS, OSP, CSI, President, BICSI, would deliver the inaugural address and the convention would witness the presence of Paul Weintraub, RCDD, RTPM, ESS, Director of Global Development & Support, BICSI.

The dedicated new product pavilion would showcase upcoming products & services and an opportunity to engage with industry stakeholders and professionals.

The 2016 BICSI Cabling Skills Challenge will also be held concurrently. All current installers and technicians are eligible to participate and selected competitors will receive a complimentary registration & entry to the final round of 2017 BICSI INDIA cabling challenge. Winner of the cabling skills challenge will be awarded the title ‘BICSI INDIA Installer of the Year’ and the grand champion will walk away with attractive goodies.

The annual conference will feature captivating discussions on; trends and developments in copper cabling & field testing, high density copper and fiber cabling solutions by enterprises, intelligent infrastructure solutions, high-speed data-transmission technologies and ICT standards updates.

The expected 400 plus audience would largely represent End-users, System Integrators, Installers, Consultants, Distributors and OEMs from the ICT Community, members of BICSI and various other Indian IT and Software Industry Associations.
