Airtel XStream to Offer 1 Gbps with Fiber Package

Airtel XStream announced its Rs. 3,999 plan, which comes with speeds up to 1 Gbps. In process, Airtel has become the first telecom operator to do so.

The Airtel XStream Fiber Rs 3,999 plan comes with a complimentary 1 Gbps Wi-Fi router to go with unlimited data quota and massive bundled content. The highly advanced Wi-Fi router, will enable seamless one Gbps Wi-Fi coverage across homes and small offices. What's more, the super-fast connection will allow for a smooth, lag-free gaming experience and multiple fast connections for high-quality streaming

The company noted that this fast connection will allow companies to operate seamlessly which can't afford even a millisecond of downtime.

The CEO of Homes, Bharti Airtel, Vir Inder Nath, noted that the telecom operator was "proud to be at the forefront of India’s broadband revolution".  He further noted that the aim of the Fiber was "liberation from the LAN cable to enjoy the 1 Gbps experience".

Airtel XStream Fiber’s 1 Gbps broadband plan also comes with a set top Box that offers 550 TV channels. It also includes OTT content from the app library. That library includes over 10,000 movies & shows aggregated across seven OTT apps and five studios. It offers subscriptions to premier video streaming apps such as Amazon Prime Video and ZEE5, all accessible through the Box.
