Airtel sets up Airtel 5G Plus experience zones across all 1000+ stores

Airtel has taken the initiative to make the new technology easier to understand for users and enable them to fully appreciate the benefits of 5G

All of Airtel's retail locations nationwide now have 5G experience zones set up. The blistering internet speeds of 5G and new use cases including immersive virtual reality entertainment, cloud gaming among others are brought to life in these specifically selected zones by Airtel showcasing the technology's capability.

According to Airtel, since it is a pioneer in the sector, it has taken the initiative to make the new technology easier to understand for users and enable them to fully appreciate the benefits of 5G. As noted by Airtel in its press release, all of the 1000+ stores will have specially trained executives who will not only demonstrate use cases but will also answer any concerns about 5G in addition to discussing Airtel's own offers.

Commenting on the launch, Shashwat Sharma, Director – Consumer Business, Bharti Airtel said, “Customer obsession continues to be the core tenet driving us at Airtel. We heard from our customers about their curiosity and desire to experience the new technology, as the networks get rolled out. The Demo zones in our stores will provide first-hand experience of Airtel 5G Plus and the potential it holds to transform the lives of our customers. I am certain, the customers will love the experience provided here, as we construct our network across the length and breadth of the country”.

In the nation, Airtel was the first business to introduce 5G services and have now covered nearly 20 states that now have Airtel 5G Plus services. The telco is gradually introducing its offerings while continuing to build the network. Users with 5G compatible smartphones can use the fast Airtel 5G Plus network without paying any extra amount until the roll-out is more widespread as all the current data plans are compatible with 5G technology.

According to Airtel's press statement, the services will be more environmentally friendly, work on all 5G smartphones, and offer tremendous speed and the finest voice experience on its network.
