Airtel, Jio and BSNL OTT Fiber Broadband Postpaid Plans under Rs 1000

Many ISPs are unable to offer their services to all of India , Jio, Airtel and BSNL on the other hand, are present throughout India.

While many Internet Service Providers (ISPs) in the nation are unable to offer their services to all of India , Jio, Airtel and BSNL on the other hand, are present throughout India. They offer cost-effective plans, and effectively compete with one another and other ISPs.

The pandemic has also had a significant impact by bringing millions of new customers to these broadband service providers, which this shift towards OTT Fiber Broadband, it has become the new norm.

Broadband services from Jio, Airtel and BSNL go by the names Jio Fiber, Airtel XStream and BSNL Bharat Fibre, respectively and each offers a variety of monthly subscriptions for less than Rs 1000.

The prices for Bharti Airtel's XStream fibre packages do not include GST. Users can choose to receive a free XStream Box by making a fully refundable payment of Rs 1500. Airtel's plans present BSNL with feirce competition.

Rs 499-

Termed as the basic plan by Airtel, this Airtel XStream broadband package includes free voice calls, unlimited internet with a speed of up to 40 Mbps and 3,333 GB of data available each month. Wynk Music, and Shaw Academy subscriptions are also included with this plan. This membership plan also provides access to the Airtel XStream App and the Airtel Thanks benefit included in the plan offer subscription to OTT platforms like Voot Basic, Eros Now, Hungama Play, Shemaroo M along with FASTag and Apollo services.

Rs 799-

Called the Standard Plan, For Rs 799, customers can get 3333 GB of data each month with unlimited internet at a speed of up to 100 Mbps along with other perks which include the Airtel Thanks benefit offering Airtel XStream Premium, Wynk Music, Shaw Academy, Apollo and FASTag services. This plan also offers unlimited free voice calls.

Termed as the Entertainment Plan, this package from Airtel XStream includes unlimited calling, 3333 GB data with top speed of 200 Mbps and unlimited internet. While others offer subscription to Wynk Music, this plan includes Wynk Premium subscription. Since this is a plan for entertainment purpose, it also comes with Disney+Hotstar and Amazon Prime subscriptions among others.

BSNL's Bharat Fibre Packages

Rs 499-

For those who don't need a high-speed data plan, the Rs 499 BSNL broadband package is a great choice because it delivers 30 Mbps speed.

A daily cap of 100GB of data is offered at 30Mbps, translating to 3300GB per month. After 100 GB have been used up, speed reduces to 2Mbps with a bandwidth range of 50 Mbps. This package also provides free nationwide landline and phone calling.

Rs 799-

This plan gives 3300 GB a month or 100 GB per day with a free landline connection. This plan comes with a speed of 100 Mbps until 3300 GB are used up. Speed drops to 2 Mbps once the daily limited has been exhausted. The Rs 799 BSNL Fibre Broadband plan and the Airtel Rs 799 broadband plan are extremely comparable. This BSNL package comes with with a Disney+Hotstar Premium OTT subscription.

Rs 999-

The services that fall under this BSNL package provide 200 Mbps of speed with a limit of 3300 GB per month. After the data limit cap has been met, the speed drops to 2 Mbps. A free Disney+Hotstar membership along with free voice calls all across India are also a part of this plan.

Reliance JIO Fibre Plans

The plans offered by Jio Fibre, the company's USP are undoubtedly less expensive than those of Airtel and BSNL. They have introduced various plans under Rs 1000, beginning with the cheapest package available at just Rs 399. The plan prices do not include GST.

Rs 399-

This plan by Jio offers unlimited internet with 3,300 GB data per month. It comes with a respectable 30 Mbps speed but no OTT app perks. Keeping this as the base plan, Jio offers 6 OTT app benefit including Universal and Eros Now for Rs 100. With Rs 399 base plan, if the users want more OTT apps, Jio offers 14 OTT apps including Disney+Hotstar and Sony LIV. For 14 OTT apps, users have to pay Rs 200 extra other than the plan price.

Rs 699-

Rs 699 plan by JIO is less expensive than Airtel and BSNL's Rs 799 plans. It provides unlimited internet at 100 Mbps speed. The plan includes 3,300 GB of data per month. This plan includes no OTT app benefit to it. To avail the benefit users must pay Rs 100 extra with the base plan. For Rs 100 Jio provides 6 OTT apps on the plan. If the user wants more apps, Jio offers 14 OTT apps including Disney+Hotstar and Sony LIV. To enjoy 14 OTT apps, the subscribers must pay Rs 200 extra with the base Rs 699 Plan.

Rs 999

Jio Rs 999 package offers consumers unlimited internet with 3,300 GB data per month. With 150 Mbps connectivity, this plan also offers 15 OTT apps. Prime Video and Disney+Hotstar come as a part of this plan. Although, this plan offers consumer speeds upto 150 Mbps, it is lesser compared to other telcos. Airtel and BSNL offer upto 200 Mbps of speed at the same price.
