Airtel introduces 5G at Pune Airport, number of cities with 5G reaches 11

The second-largest telecom provider in the country, Bharti Airtel, has started offering 5G at the Pune Airport.

There are currently 11 cities where Airtel's 5G services are offered now that include, Nagpur, Siliguri, Bengaluru, Chennai, Delhi, Panipat, Hyderabad, Mumbai, Gurugram, Varanasi and Pune.

The second-largest telecom provider in the country, Bharti Airtel, has started offering 5G at the Pune Airport.

Users of Airtel may experience lightning-fast mobile internet speeds wherever they go, including lounges, boarding gates, checkpoints, immigration, baggage claim lanes, security check points, parking lots among others.

With this introduction, Airtel's 5G networks are now available in 11 cities. Pune Lohegaon Airport will now be the first airport in Maharashtra to take advantage of Airtel's blazing-fast 5G services thanks to the announcement of Airtel 5G Plus. Customers travelling into the airport or at the airport will have access to this 5G service.

There are currently 11 cities where Airtel's 5G services are offered now that include, Nagpur, Siliguri, Bengaluru, Chennai, Delhi, Panipat, Hyderabad, Mumbai, Gurugram, Varanasi and Pune.

Airtels users who have 5G enabled devices will be able to utilise the fast Airtel 5G Plus service with their current data plans. Customers need not switch SIM cards because Airtel is using Non-Standalone infrastructure for its 5G services, and as the name suggests, it uses 4G structure to function and Airtel 4G SIM will also support 5G.
