Airtel cuts broadband charges by up to 30%

NEW DELHI: Country's top operator Airtel has reduced prices for new broadband activations by up to 30 percent.

It also announced that home broadband plans will now come with best possible speeds of up to 16mbps and introduced 'Airtel Surprises' for all existing customers.

Airtel, with with operations in 20 countries across Asia and Africa, offers on home broadband plans for existing as well as new customers.

Under 'Airtel Surprises', customers will be upgraded to higher speeds or they will get additional data benefits on their existing plans completely free of cost.

With this, all new customers on Airtel have to pay for data benefits and they can avail the best possible internet speed at their home at no extra cost.

Airtel Broadband plans now start at a price of Rs 699 and will also offer free subscription of F-Secure antivirus and parental control for three devices along with a wi-fi router at no extra cost.
