Bharti Airtel launches G trials

NEW DELHI: Country's top telecom operator Bharti Airtel has become the first company to commercially launch its high speed 4G services in 296 towns pan-India.

It should be noted here that its formidable rival Reliance Jio, the telecom arm of Reliance industries, will be launching its 4G services by December this year and Bharti Airtel has been seen bracing itself up to fight with Rjio, which has got deep pockets.

Airtel customers can access 4G services with packs starting at Rs 25. They need to switch to a 4G SIM by reaching out to any Airtel stores. Besides, any Samsung retail stores will also facilitate 4G SIM swaps, the company said in a statement.

It has also introduced a new range of 'Infinity Plans' starting at Rs 999. It offers unlimited voice calls along with data benefits and access to Wynk Movies and Wynk Music apps.
