Vi also introduced new tarrif plans in Gujarat circle following similar action in Mumbai.
In Gujarat, Vodafone Idea (Vi) has altered several of its tariff plans significantly, following a comparable adjustment in Mumbai. By shortening the duration of its minimum recharge plans in some areas, Vi has executed an indirect rate increase. While the Rs 128 plan now gives a validity of 18 days rather than 28 days, the Rs 99 plan's validity has been decreased from 28 days to 15 days.
The other advantages of these programmes remain the same, notwithstanding the shorter validity, with the exception of the regular rate for transferring out of Vi services by sending an SMS to 1900. The Rs 99 plan continues to offer 200MB of data, Rs 99 in talktime, and excludes SMS. Similarly, the Rs 128 plan offers all Local/National Calls for 2.5 paise/sec and 10 Local On-Net Night Minutes, with the Night Minutes bonus being available from 11 PM to 6 AM.
In Gujarat, Vi has also added four new plans in addition to the rate increases, following the similar action in Mumbai.
Rs 198:
The Rs 198 package gives a validity of 30 days, Rs 198 in talktime, and 500MB of data. It is accessible in Gujarat and Mumbai.
Rs 204:
Exclusive to Mumbai and Gujarat, the Rs 204 package provides 500MB of data for a month along with a limited talktime of Rs 204. The cost of each call is 2.5 paise per second.
Rs 224:
This additional plan, which is only offered in Mumbai and Gujarat, has a 30-day validity period and includes 4GB of data in addition to unlimited voice calling. However, there are no SMS perks offered by this package.
Rs 232:
Similar to the previous plan, the Rs 232 plan, which is only available in Mumbai and Gujarat, offers consumers 4GB of data and unlimited phone calls for one month. Similar to the Rs. 224 plan, it excludes SMS perks.
Given that Airtel rolled backed its Rs 99 plan it no longer offers the Rs. 99 plan, Vi is in a good position to shorten its validity. Currently, Vi is the only carrier that provides a Rs 99 plan.
