ZTE unveils MeBox IPTV

ZTE has launched the ZTE MeBox, an IPTV+OTT dual-mode set-top box (STB), at the TV Connect 2014 conference and exhibition in London.

The ZTE MeBox STB (model number ZXV10 B760E) is an embedded audio/video decoding device based on the open Android platform. It features advanced hardware architecture and an optimized H.264 video decoding algorithm.

"It is based on ZTE's unique 'Convergent Network Video Platform' and can support various consumer needs in the triple-play era, for example, remote surveillance, video conferencing, multi-screen interaction and screen-casting, home media storage and sharing,: the company said in a statement.
