ZTE partners with ASBIS

ZTE on Tuesday said that it has joined hand with ASBISc Enterprises PLC for the distribution of its smartphones across eight countries in EMEA including Poland, Romania, Bosnia, Serbia, Bulgaria, Croatia, Macedonia and Slovenia.

"Through the partnership with ZTE, ASBIS has expanded its portfolio to offer the markets one of the widest ranges of mobile devices from entry-level feature phones to high-end smartphones and tablets," the company mentioned in its statement.

Distribution and direct sales through ASBIS's retail operations will start with Blade V, Blade G and Grand S Flex smartphones in Q4.

"We are confident that through our relationship with ASBIS, we will further extend our reach across the region and deliver on our European growth plan. The partnership highlights ZTE's commitment to making high-quality and affordable devices more widely accessible for consumers," said Chris Edwards, European marketing and business development director of ZTE Corporation.

ASBIS is a leading distributor of technology products in Europe and has seen huge demand recently for smartphones and tablet PCs.
