ZTE nine months operating revenue increases by 26.5%

ZTE's operating revenue has reached RMB58.29 billion, for the nine months ended September 30, 2011, with an increase of 26.5 per cent YOY (year-on-year).

The Chinese manufacturer's terminal sales increased 53.4 per cent YOY, with primary growth in sales of 3G and CDMA terminals along with GSM handsets and data cards.

The revenue of telecommunications software systems, services and other products grew 28 percentYOY.

However the net profit attributable to shareholders for the same period stood at RMB1.07 billion with a YOY decline of 21.5 per cent. The decline is mainly due to increased financial expenses according to the company.

The company also reported YOY growth of 15 per cent in carrier network revenue with increased sales of wireline products, optical communications systems, domestic sales of GSM/UMTS system equipment and international sales of the company's CDMA system equipment.
