ZTE launches e-applications at e-Gov Africa Forum

ZTE today launched a series of e-applications at 7th e-Gov Africa Forum in Kampala, Uganda.

The e-applications Forum focused on e-health, e-education and intelligent transportation solutions.

An e-health solution for intelligent hospitals, disease surveillance, telemedicine, and drug supervision is designed to help governments rapidly deploy and allocate medical resources, monitor diseases nationwide, distribute drugs and respond rapidly to emergencies.

An e-education solution that uses a cloud platform, multimedia teaching system, remote education system and unified communication technologies to improve the educational infrastructure construction.

An intelligent transportation solution that uses advanced cloud computing, information convergence, data communication transmission, remote control, and computer processing technologies to intelligently manage a city's transportation.

An EID solution that uses RFID technology to carry encrypted personal information safely and efficiently. It can be widely used in population management, banking, healthcare, education, and other fields.

"ZTE's e-education solution provides more choices for the education industry," said ZTE MEA Government and Enterprise Business CTO, Wang Yiwen.
