ZTE gaining momentum in video conferencing market

Telecom solutions provider ZTE Corporation has again bagged the #1 position in the Asia Pacific market, driven by robust growth in revenue and shipments, according to Wainhouse Research.

ZTE’s market share raised from 23% to 26% in the video-conferencing market in the Q4 of 2013.

“ZTE is committed to helping enterprises leverage the most advanced video-conferencing technologies to collaborate and communicate intelligently,” said Qian Mi, general manager of UC&C products at ZTE.

“Our market-leading position in video-conferencing is a recognition of ZTE’s advanced research and development capabilities in this area.”

ZTE was the first company to launch video-conferencing terminal that supports H.265, the first TelePresence T900 that leverages the four-channel high-definition 1080P/60FPS, and the first intelligent video-conferencing terminal ET700.

In addition, it is known for providing customized solutions to small and medium sized enterprises. It is aggressively conducting research in cloud-based video-conferencing technologies.

With over 1,000 technical experts in video-conferencing systems, the company maintains its 18 R&D centers across the world.

Last year, it witnessed an increased growth in the video-conferencing market in Asia Pacific, that helped it to double its revenue market share between the first quarter and the fourth quarter, according to data from Wainhouse Research.

ZTE’s solutions are implemented across various sectors such as administration, commerce, remote education, remote medicine, collaborative office, disaster relief, emergency command and guarantee services.
