ZTE to exhibit Railway broadband solution at UIC ERTMS World conference

ZTE will exhibit its railway application based broadband solutions and multiple GSM-R products and solutions at the UIC European Rail Traffic Management System (ERTMS) World conference in Istanbul, Turkey.

ZTE will also demonstrate its LTE for Railway solution, a broadband solution based on applications that provide railway management and operation services as well as personal entertainment systems for passengers on high-speed trains.

"ZTE's GSM-R system, which is based on the latest SDR platform, has high performance, high integration, and low power consumption features, can evolve smoothly into LTE systems, and can provide both GSM-R and LTE services," said Zhang Jianguo, vice president of ZTE.

He further added, "By using the advanced wireless communications technologies in the railway field, ZTE's GSM-R solutions can protect customer investments, and provide more high-quality services for railway administrators and passengers."
