Zensar to provide Google Apps

Zensar Technologies has announced that it is adopting Google Apps for enhanced communication, collaboration and efficiency for enterprises.

The company will provide the apps solutions in the APAC region and will focus on large retail and manufacturing customers in India.

''Today, more than 4 million businesses around the world are using Google Apps to drive innovation, increase productivity and collaboration and reduce IT expenditure. We are delighted that Zensar is coming on board as a customer and also becoming a reseller for Google Apps,'' said Doug Farber, MD, APAC enterprise, Google.

''Zensar is committed to building the next generation of collaboration infrastructure for the benefit of all its Indian and global customers. Google Apps takes us one step closer to that goal,'' said Dr Ganesh Natarajan vice chairman and CEO, Zensar Technologies, commenting on the partnership.

We expect that Google Apps will not only enhance collaboration but these tools will empower them, providing more choice and flexibility in where, when and how they choose to do their work, he added.

Using Google Apps marketplace and Google App Engine, the company will be able to access third party applications and build their own customized applications for external and internal use on top of Google’s platform.
