WebNMS is on the verge of launching four out-of-the-box M2M solutions namely ATM Site Manager, Cell Tower Site Manager, Road infrastructure Manager, and Power Grid Monitoring solutions to monitor and control passive infrastructure. It has recently launched ATM Site Manager on 28th November, 2012, it ensures uptime of ATM sites by optimizing asset and energy management. It resolves operational problems such as power and safety issues without physical interaction thus slashing costs and improving profits.

The company has priced the ATM Site Manager solution at Rs 30,000 per ATM center which is a combination of both hardware and aoftware, which is a one time price. WebNMS remote terminal unit captures 12 data points including temperature, humidity, door opening/closing, lighting control and energy consumption by connecting to various sensors. The captured data is sent to a central server on a real-time basis for timely action.

Prabhu Ramachandran, Director, WebNMS said, "We are bullish on M2M market. We are working towards it from past couple of years and it has been a natural evolution for us." He further added, "Several companies are keen to leverage M2M space. As the ecosystem is slowly picking pace there is a dire need for a link which binds everyone in this dynamic ecosystem."

Cell Tower Site Manager is said to slash energy bills and eliminate pilferage of assets and fuel by managing cell tower sites from a central location. It monitors and controls diesel generators, cooling solutions, UPS and security systems etc from a central location. It will be ready for deployment by February 2013 and can save upto 40% of the total energy bills, said Prabhu Ramachandran.

The company will unveil Road Infrastructure Manager and Power Grid Monitoring by the second quarter 2013-14. Road Infrastructure Manager monitors critical highway systems such as emergency calling booths, digital sign boards, weather stations and toll collection booths. It is said to push real time messages to the digital sign boards and alerts operators on any system failure. Poer Grid Monitoring captures real time information and raises alerts on power leakage, brakage and distribution loss due to theft. It enables operators to locate pain points accurately as an integration with map creates an end-to-end interaction between grid and operators.
