What are the solutions that you offer?

Currently, we offer fixed WiMax solutions. We have products for the licensed
spectrum, as well as the unlicensed 5.8 GHz spectrum. Corporate offices,
government organizations, campuses, universities, and other places like shipping
yards, which are scattered over a wide region, can connect themselves with our
products in the unlicensed spectrum range. We also offer products for licensed
2.3 and 3.3-3.6 GHz spectrums. For at least the next few months, our major push
would be for the 5.8 GHz spectrum.

We are targeting small-to-medium wireless ISPs. We also plan to target major
network service providers in the coming months. Our product suite includes
equipment for enterprise broadband, small-office-home-office broadband,
residential broadband, rural telephony, cellular backhaul, etc.

What's your go-to-market strategy?

We are tying up with major system integrators who usually bid for tenders
and provide complete end-to-end solution equipments like towers, cable,
antennae, etc. Currently, we are working with system integrators to form
alliances and partnerships. In this alliance we will also bid for WiMax
projects.

What are the issues involved in WiMax deployment at present?

Operators have to be clear on deployment models, and on where they are going
to get their RoI from. Though, at the moment WiMax has certain limitations, it
is also excellent for certain applications and we need to concentrate on these
instead of trying new things which are not proven.

When you started you targeted greenfield deployments. How much have these
opportunities contributed to your revenue?

After our initial ramping-up activities, from the period between October
2007 and May 2008 alone, our revenue stood at $0.5 mn. And going ahead, we are
further planning to ramp-up our business activities, and expect to achieve
400-600% growth in the next two-three years.

At a time when the 'Rural Chalo' mantra has been taken up all over India,
what's your strategy for a stronger presence?

We have some products geared for rural markets in India. We are working with
major service providers to jointly showcase a proof-of-concept solution for
rural areas. Our products are different from others, as they can be deployed
directly on the tower, do not require air-conditioned housing, and consume
lesser power compared to others' products. In addition, our products are robust
and all-weather proof. This is how we make our products simple, which is very
essential, especially for rural deployment.
