In this highly competitive market flooded with products and brands, where
do you position National Panasonic?

National Panasonic is placed in a unique position. It is the only company to
offer the entire range of office communications products to an organization as
well as consumers. Our range is from KTS, FAX, multifunction devices, terminal
communication products like single line phones, single-line feature phones,
cordless phones, mobile phones. Plus, we also offer other office equipment like
LCD projectors, electronic print boards, and audio conferencing equipment.

What is your observation of the KTS market in India?

The market is growing at the rate of 20—25 percent per annum. But, growth
is being driven mostly by the replacement market.

What is your strategy for leadership ?

One, to have presence in all the three segments, right from the volume
driven lower-end analog to the value-based higher end segment. Two, effective
presence of channel partners across the country provides with better penetration
for both sales and service. And three, to come out with easy to install, use,
and maintain products.

How are you positioned in the Indian mobile handset market?

Having just started the mobile business actively, we aim to be among the top
five vendors in the country this year.
